ARE SEAFLORA PRODUCTS ORGANIC?

Seaflora products are made with USDA-certified organic seaweeds, marine minerals, and ocean mud.

WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER INGREDIENTS IN SEAFLORA PRODUCTS?

Other ingredients used in Seaflora products are certified organic or food grade.

WHAT HARMFUL INGREDIENTS ARE SEAFLORA PRODUCTS FREE FROM?

Seaflora products are always free from the following harmful or environmental hazardous ingredients:

DO SEAFLORA PRODUCTS CONTAIN INGREDIENTS MADE WITH GENETICALLY MODIFIED ORGANISMS (GMOS)?

No. Seaflora products are never made with genetically modified organisms (GMOs). All soy- and corn-derived ingredients used in Seaflora products are GMO-free.

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE FOR SEAFLORA PRODUCTS?

We recommend using your Seaflora products within two years after purchase, and within one year after opening.

DO YOU USE PARABENS AS A PRESERVATIVE IN SEAFLORA PRODUCTS?

No. Parabens are not used in Seaflora products. We rely on a carefully selected, safer alternative instead.

 

CAN I USE SEAFLORA PRODUCTS IF I’M ALLERGIC TO SHELLFISH?

Yes. You can use Seaflora products even if you have a shellfish allergy. Compounds responsible for shellfish allergy are not found in seaweed.

WHY DOES MY SKIN TINGLE AFTER APPLYING SEAFLORA?

A high concentration of bioactive vitamins and minerals in seaweed can cause a tingling sensation from inducing a micro-circulation and stimulating collagen production. A tingling sensation, along with localized redness from B-vitamins, might appear when you apply Seaflora products. This is normal and usually goes away within a few seconds to a few minutes after use.

ARE SEAFLORA PRODUCTS TESTED ON ANIMALS?

We do not test on animals. In addition to respecting the safety and humanity of animals, we do not source any ingredients from China, or from companies that test on animals.

WHERE CAN I FIND ALLERGY INFORMATION FOR SEAFLORA PRODUCTS?

All ingredients are listed on the outer box or label. If you no longer have the packaging, simply look the product up on our website where all ingredients are listed.

WHY DO SOME SEAFLORA PRODUCTS VARY IN COLOUR?

Seaweeds vary in color depending on the species, seaweed harvest time and location. We proudly handcraft each product in small batches. For those reasons, you might find that some Seaflora products vary in color.

ARE SEAFLORA PRODUCTS SAFE DURING PREGNANCY?

Yes, absolutely.

WHAT SHIPPING METHOD DO YOU USE TO SHIP YOUR PRODUCTS?

Canada Post will be used for shipment of all orders.

 

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING USUALLY TAKE?

It can take anywhere between 2 days and 2 weeks to receive your order. All orders are shipped within 3-7 business days. Once it leaves our hands, the shipping company is who you will deal with to follow up on orders using your tracking number. Tracking numbers are emailed once the order has left the building.

If you chose local pickup instead of shipping, a notification call will be made to the phone number provided at time of purchase.

WHAT CURRENCY WILL I BE CHARGED?

Seaflora orders placed within Canada are charged in CAD. Orders placed outside of Canada are charged USD.
